In 1979, “Once Upon a Railroad” documented the early history of Stanberry thanks to the efforts of a centennial committee. The effort was made to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Stanberry. Now, the town is embarking on its 150^th anniversary and a new chapter of history is being written.

With advances in technology, better archival retrieval methods, and architectural knowledge, the history of Stanberry is now being captured in even greater detail as it hasn’t been seen before.
